I’m sure when Bridget Phillipson said she was adding VAT to fees for private education. She said it would be used to pay for 6,500 extra teachers in the public sector. Now Kier Starmer has said
39 billion housing pledge, for social housing is made possible because of VAT on private school fees. So what should we believe.
