Maria, is the hospital you are attending the RVI? Reason I ask is my late mum had macular, unfortunately she lost the sight in one eye as it was unable to be treated but, in the other eye she had injections in the eye every 12 weeks, thank heavens they managed to retain sight and mum was able to continue being able to read until sg3 was diagnosed with dementia.
