I totally agree with you, I would never normally book a Britannia group hotel but the booking was made centrally so we had no choice.
We received the Canary Wharf hotel cancellation this morning informing us that the booking had been transferred to a (non Britannia) hotel near St Albans. As the new hotel is further from the channel ports it should be quieter!
