My I pad that I’m using to write this is about 2 years old and there’s something not right with it. Going to take it to the local Apple independent shop.

So in February bought a 2025 model.

Maybe I should have paired it with the older one. But didn’t wish to.

The new works similar to the old BUT!

They have done away with the ? Power? button on the right hand side and you have to sweep up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the apps panel.

It’s now difficult to switch off the iPad , you often just take a photo.

It’s taken me months to get the new to work and I cannot ask the granddaughter as see uses more top of the range Apple gear ? Apple Mac? Anyway she is away cricketing a lot of the time these days.

You can I understand buy 2024 models but for how long?
