This afternoon I tried out my modified bike.

The flat bars have made a tremendous difference for me. Sitting more upright, have more control and can see better due to that.

They have added three shims to the top of the fork raising the bar about 10mm.

I had visited Specsavers as thinking about cycling specs. no need now..

I will have to do a bit of fiddling with the gear shifter location and angle to suit my hands and fingers but just minor tweaks.

Delighted a vast difference to my ride.
