Norman, I don't know if there was a familial connection. I think they were more good pals growing up, I seem to remember Monica telling me once but there may well be a Hedley connection. I saw Monica at the church play group when I first moved to Hebburn and Che was still small. I think it was one of her grandchildren she took along.
