There is a death recorded in "Funeral Notices" of a lady named Enid Stafford (nee Arkless).
I have seen her photograph in a group of performers on a Powerhouse entry on this message board a few months back, but someone remembers her as Edith.
Her obituary mentions the Hebburn Operatic Society.
Details of her funeral arrangements are given.
