If the UK is anything like America, there could also be a growing wave of anti-vaccine sentiment. A lot of that started here during the COVID pandemic, where people spread all sorts of ridiculous rumours about the vaccines containing mind-control microchips or whatever.

Thanks to all that, we have an outbreak of Measles, which we haven't had in years.

Unfortunately, the current Government has an anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist in charge of the Health Department who is vowing to cut funds for vaccine research, so who knows what we'll get in the future.
