Some of The earliest photos that I have that were taken in Hebburn in 1886/7 that being after the birth of my Grandfather in 1886.

There are 3 other following the birth on their other children in 1888,1899 & 1893. As taken in a studio not a lot to see except the clothes that they wore.

When we look at photos we tend to miss what’s in the background and that can be very informative.

The earliest photos taken that I have are from around 1880 ish of my G. G/F and his brother.

On my mothers side there could be some earlier that that but never checked when the Photographer was in business.
