I was thinking the same thing myself. Because Charlie Kirk was a right-wing political activist it is the obvious leap to assume his killer is politically motivated and comes from the left. However, that's not necessarily the case. Could just be a crazy person or someone with an as yet unknown motivation.

Whatever you may think of his politics, the real tragedy here is that a man was murdered and his family have lost a son, husband and father.
