What a marvellous photo of Hebburn ,all that area was my playground area back in the sixties when my family lived in Aln street . Noticed Newtown school had been demolished and replaced with fountains park . Also there was still a lot of industry around in those days , Can you notice the big GKN steel stockist warehouse beside the wooden bridge over the quay …….. Question when was the GKN warehouse and Newtown school demolished
