😁 I also find it disconcerting when I walk my daughter’s dog in the park. Not that long ago most people would pass the time of day with a little remark about the weather or about how cute your dog is or whatever.
I start talking and most younger ones stop and take an earphone out and say ‘Sorry?’. I’ve pretty much given up trying.
