It was a terrible piece of our History, BUT the people who did it have been dead 150 yrs. We stopped it in 1834.
Slave ships would dock in a African port, load the slaves up & set sail.All done quickly thanks to Africans capturing fellow Africans and awaiting arrival of the slave ships..
We saw a TV Programme a few years ago when TV presenter & ex England footballer Alex Scott of African Heritage was shocked to find her African ancestor owned 26 Slaves.She'd been hoping to find her ancestors were slaves & they weren't.
