Wonderful Norman It's that word again ' Memories ' Is that Robbie Henderson of number 4 Campbell Street beside one of their Taxs
I grew up with Robbie. Little known fact he was born at number 13 Campbell Street and I was at number 15 Campbell Street within a month or two of each other August/October 1927.We where evacuated to the same village early 1940.When my dad was medically discharged after his Regiments evacuation from Dunkirk 1941 our family moved back to Hebburn, Dunstan St Never did see Robbie again although we did email each other even after he and his daughters move to Canada,He had siblings can't recall which were which. Our village had the name Ingleton, not the one in Yorkshire. this was a small farming community in Co. Durham.
