Newcastle played French club Marseille earlier this week and our fans were bullied and abused by the 'tough' French Police. The French weren't so tough in WW2 were they?
Newcastle have officially complained about the heavy handed actions of these Police.
They acted like the South of France Vicchy who collaborated with Germany and became our enemy in WW2 so obviously dont like us Brits.
I heard years ago the city of Marseille is more like a Middle Eastern City than a French one.
