I recently received a scam letter in the post that I thought was about the GPS anti-theft device in my car. It turns out it was from some shady company trying to sell a service which may or may not exist.

I have written a blog post about it which includes scans of the letter itself. This is in the US but I could easily imagine a similar scam being run in the UK.

Be careful of official looking offers in the mail!
