I recall in the 1950's there was a milkman called Billy who drove a cart and called in to my Granny's in Mons Ave for his 10am tea! He was not a kind man to the horse and it ended up kicking him in the nose. He later died with Pneumonia. Then Geordie, a real teddy boy took over and he was a nice fellow!
