Norman has made it clear that he does not want contributions towards his costs. I respect that.
But I suggest that we thank Norman in another way and that is by giving a donation to charity. The amount is irrelevant. It is the thought that counts.
I have chosen Maggie's Cancer Care. They have good national representation and I have seen the Newcastle centre in action when they looked after the daughter of a close friend who died of Cancer far too early. She first came into our life as a child and we lost her as a young woman amazingly supported by Maggies.
