The keep! Designed by a French man called Maurice and built in 1172 for Henry II. He never saw it! Over 100 hrs ago, they threw a donkey off the top to see if it could fly due to large ears. It killed 2 spectators as it landed. Strange goings on those days but true!.. However, John Dobson added the battlements...
