Another familiar view in Newcastle that hasnt changed much since those Tram Car days. That's the beautiful 193 ft tall St Nicholas's Cathedral in view.It became a Cathedral in 1882 but was founded as a Church originally in 1091. Those trams & the later Trolley buses were a great idea because they didnt belch out diesel/petrol fumes like later generations had to suffer. Remember the horrible diesel fumes when waiting for a bus in Worswick St?
