Thanks to the 'Britain from Above' site for allowing us to use their aerial images. This gives younger people who never saw Hebburn Lakes how large they were. It is such a shame that the 'second lake' which was the Ellison families boating lake wasnt kept as a boating lake for us to rival Saltwell Park.
