It is in Danish with English subtitles but don't let that put you off. You will spot many a Danish word that we Geordies use without thinking about it!
There are 10 season which will keep you going for ages. About 60 episodes. And since terrestrial TV is so awful it fills in a few nights.
Its a light almost semi-comedic series which follows a cast of characters from the 20's through WW2 into the 40's, some more outgoing than others. We grew to love them all.
Do the first two episodes and see if it is for you. Some I am sure will not be enamored but we were smitten!
