Sometimes a simple poem
Can somewhere ring a bell
To stir neglected memories
And somehow cast a spell
Which let’s the reader recreate
The richness of their past
The kaleidoscope of love and life
That rattled by so fast
The triumphs and the tragedies
The pleasure and the pain
Those feelings half forgotten
Are revived and felt again
