Just heard on the Local News that Gateshead's beautiful 'Saltwell Park' was opened 150 years ago today.
What a brilliant Park it has been and used not just by Gateshead people but people from all over the area.Towns all around had Bus Trips to the Park. Here are a couple of pics from my archive.
Well Done Gateshead
