Modern town planners have little regard for buildings of culture. My reflections of managing civil construction jobs was the target, - the town planner with his kipper tie and trouser turn ups! One of my quips was " you couldnt plan a booze up in a brewery"! The architect always got 2nd place! I laugh my socks off when they cant get their mitts on listed buildings. Here in Liverpool theres over 2000 of them and its brilliant to see!
