Elizabeth used to live at Riverside Cottages located between the Lead Works opposite 'Dougies Tavern' and the 'Banks of the Tyne' pub.
Here are a couple of photos her brother Alex sent me many years ago.
I think their lovely life style at Riverside Cottages in those days sounded a bit like that TV programme called 'The Darling Buds of May'starring David Jason & Catherine Zeta Jones.
