Mac, I remember my family knowing some people called Stokoe when I was young, so there's a possibility that it might be the same family. My relatives worked at Reyrolle and Marconi in Bill Quay.

James Stokoe in the music business doesn't ring any immediate bells. I've done a bit of searching online for but haven't come up with anything yet. I'll post it if I do though.
