Angela (nee Judd) died yesterday aged 80 in Norwich of aggressive cancer.
Eleven months ago her husband Alan died unexpectedly in his sleep at home in Norwich aged 82.
Angela lived first of all in Birch St Jarrow in the shop premises owned by her parents and later on Bede Burn Rd opposite Danesfield. She was a JGS Girl and after Nevilles Cross training College went on in life to be Headmistress of a school in Norfolk.
Alan a Grange School and JGS lad lived in Cambridge Avenue. His Dad I recall worked at Leslies. I can't remember his name but be has been mentioned on the board in the past. After a spell with the DHSS Alan took up training as a Solicitor and progressed to owning his own practice in North Walsham, Norfolk.
They married in 1968 the same year as Jean and I.
Angie and Jean were lifelong friends. Alan and I also. No surprise then that by the early sixties we were couples together and have stayed so.
Our journey in life together has finally been broken and we are devastated.
I did Alans eulogy last year. Angie's beckons. This one will be harder.
