Carol, it is about 40 mins drive from where I live but passes through wonderful countryside, not only do I visit the food centre, they can tell you exactly where the meat has come from, there is usually a very good market in Ludlow, but I also visit one of the best NatWest Banks, no machines, just people who sit behind the counter who know who you are, you deal direct with people who answer questions, the interior is like stepping back in time fantastic wood panelling that kind of thing, every time I visit I receive a survey asking about my visit, I always request that the Ludlow branch is never closed, so far so good.
