Sand Haven beach looking north to Tynemouth from the car park where 'Frankies Cafe' used to be years ago. Today there is a Pub called 'The Sand Dancer' beside the car park with ' Colman's Seafood Temple' just yards from Gypsy's Green recreation ground. What superb beaches they are here in South Shields. Because we are local we don't realise how good a place South Shields is for day trips or holidays.if only we could guarantee the weather
