Upon this world of ours
Fish and fowl,trees and shrubs
Animals and flowers
Is driven by a primal urge
To survive and procreate
Then spread and thrive
While they’re alive
To flourish and to mate
This passion to live
The desire to spawn
Is what drives us on
From the day we're born
Dinosaurs have vanished
Other species too
But the space they left
Was colonised soon
And filled withcreatures new
In a billion years this world of ours
May explode into oblivion
The spores of life spread far and wide
To seek a new dominion
