A survey of deaths across Scotland's Central Belt, looked at people who had made the "100 Club". Similar industries to Tyneside.
Of 1000 deaths, only 1 miner, and 1 shipyard worker made it to 100 years of age.
Was put down to the physical stress of the work, and living conditions........
How coincidental is that?
