Rhoda was married to a marvelous gentleman called Jack Ellis, a cousin of my grandfather Len Johnston. Jack worked for many years at Baker Perkins in the machine shop and took me under his wing when I started my apprenticeship in the early eighties. When Bakers closed the machine section a lot of families ventured down to their sister site in Peterborough , where I believe Rhoda still lives.
