Header photo to bring back memories of Worswick St

Today most people go to Newcastle on the Metro.
In the 'old days' most people got the bus to Newcastle and got off in Worswick St Bus Station full of smokey diesel fumes as the Bus drivers were sitting with engines running pouring out fumes. Even walking around Newcastle in the 50s buses were smokey diesels. Happy but unhealthy days they must have been.
