Louise Margaret Haigh (born 22 July 1987) is a British politician who has served as First Secretary of State, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster.
Haigh pleaded guilty to a fraud offense in 2014—committed in 2013 when she was 24 and working for Aviva—after falsely telling police her work phone
was stolen in a mugging and causing her employer to replace it, which led to her high-profile resignation as Transport Secretary in November
2024.
