My friend called this afternoon to tell me Ben Delo, who has given Nigel £36 million used to go to St Edwards RC Primary School. Quite a few she was Secretary at the school , they were trying to raise funds to refurbish children’s the toilets/ loos. He heard about and gave them £100,000. She didn’t realise it was the same person, until she saw his photo. The school it not mentioned in his biography, he did attend. She said he was diagnosed with Asperger’s, but was a wizz at maths even as a child. A generous man.
