Have the Board members any thoughts on the Man City situation?

I thinks it is a disgrace that the owners of Man City are threatening to withdraw investments they have in the UK if action is taken against the Club. It is common practice is certain countries that bribes etc are a way of life, it shouldn’t be allowed to happen in the UK. Man City are, apparently guilty of 114 offences to my mind the appropriate action should be taken to protect the integrity of the UK and sport in general.

I believe that we have military personnel in the UAE protecting them from Iran, if the UAE do pull their investments from the UK then, to my mind, why should the British Military put their lives at risk to protect the UAE?

Furthermore, Andy Burnham was trying to ‘muscle’ in on this saga, I think he should proceed very carefully as I seem to recall there were some ‘issues’ surrounding building of flats in Manchester funded by the UAE, I could be wrong on this point I must look this up.
