Mac is absolutely correct - it was still a hive of activity in the 60’s. Burtons the Tailors, the Empire Cinema, Minnikins (?) the jewellers, the Bendix laundromat, County Hotel, Woolworths, Chris B Watson gentleman’s outfitter and many more whose names I have forgotten.
