Its frightening how personnal information can be sent so quickly and used fraudulently. Dont think your phones are safe either. I bought a new phone recently but had not backed up my contacts. So, I manually copied them down from my old phone onto paper and transfered them one at a time onto my new phone .This was on the Sunday. I checked FaceBook on the Monday using my PC and all my contacts pictures [faces] appeared on my FaceBook page as people I may know. This is clearly Data theft. I cannot contact FB, but they now have details of all my contacts that I had on my phone. I would not have agreed to this , but this is just one example of theft and big brother. I find this disgracefull but there is very little it seems I can do. Some apps on a Android phone can read, copy, find, share , details ,info , photos etc that I have on my phone. I wonder if credit card details and purchases can be linked too.|
