Thanks Stan, How do you decide which churches to film? As you know quite a few old Anglican Churches have changed congregation by the type of worship they now have. On Brighton Grove in Newcastle there is an old Anglican church which is now a cathedral church for the Coptic Christian community in the North East of England. About 20+ years ago I was invited to the church as the Coptic Pope was coming to bless some newly installed Icons, He came and spoke to everyone individually and was a joy to meet. I was invited as I was chair of Governors of a local school, but at least I can say I met a Pope if it is ever brought up in conversation, which it never really is. The church has changed quite a bit inside but nothing really structurally so the bones of the Anglican church are still intact. But it was very interesting to see a form of Christianity that I knew very little about first hand.|
