Dismiss the critics who say FB are not up to dodgy practises. I recently got a new phone and manually inputed 65 contacts from my old phone to my new one. This was on the Sunday, on the Monday when I logged onto FB on my laptop ,all the faces of my contacts on my phone were on the screen under the heading poeple who you may know. Why should FB need a list of my personal contacts , many are family and customers. |
This is surely data theft. Another thing I'm not happy about is the fact I get FB recovery codes sent to my email 4 or 5 times a day, prompting me change my password. People are trying to hack into my account from all over the place.:Milton Keynes ,Glasgow even America. Sad people indeed .
One other thing I was horrified to read only yesterday on the FB Help Community was the complaints regarding some of the content of the pages. Content such as videos of suicides , murder and child porn . It is horrifying that FB should allow this to be shown. It is a real eye opener......but dont take my word for it go to FB and read it for yourself.
I have already sent FB emails telling them what I think ,of course I've had no reply .
Anyway ,FB is now off my phone. I checked my data last week to find FB had used 3.4GB of data in a month. They WERE monitoring everything I do on my phone. Not anymore.
