Hi MAC,regarding your request of your class mates, at Clegwell in the year 1954-5if they are still with us I know that Ged Taylor died in the 1990s Brian Kapke who served his time with me [1955-60 in Palmers joiners shop I believe is not with us,i spoke to John Diamond in the IONA club about 3 years ago,Mac you must have been in the same year as myself,i can not remember you, I am not sure if you were in my twin brothers class [Robert Barker]Like you I often wonder where our class mates are or if they are still with us,they are or will be in there 80s  When I go up to my beloved Hebburn I am told so and so died and told how they got on in life what they did ,where they lived, travelled, I am amazed and proud at what they got up to from every corner of the GLOBE all from little old HEBBURN. |
