South Shields to get more Govermenent Funding

I've been off the news radar so this may be old news.

Five North East high streets could be revitalised with the help of a £675m pool of Government cash after making it through to the next round of of the funding process.
Local authorities at Bishop Auckland, Darlington, South Shields, Stockton, and Sunderland have each received around £150,000 to develop plans to make their high streets “fit for the future”.

No mention of Jarrow, Hebburn, Felling or Gateshead.

£0 for Hebburn, £0 for Jarrow, £0 for Boldon.
The rest of it for Shields.
The Council have gradually wrecked Shields as a shopping centre, saw it happening and didnt do anything to stop it.Now they get a handout and will waste it. As was said earlier, Councillors couldnt run a business, yet are trusted to run South Tyneside.

Do we know if local authorities in Jarrow, Hebburn, Felling or Gateshead actually applied for this government funding?

There are no local authorities for Jarrow or Hebburn Audrey as we are all part of South Tyneside now.Worst luck.
