i see frosties shop in pelaw has a new front, it was all smashed in by a car in october,no pic,s yet.

Oh that’s nice to know, I believe some of the locals raised some money for the man who owns the shop just to help him out, it must be nearly a year since the accident happened, glad he is trading again.

Hi Alan that brought memories from the 50's, the lovely smell when you entered the shop. Mrs Frost
appearing through the cellar trap door, all the bikes hanging around and Mr Frost in his brown overalls

did you ever see his wife carol?, may, nice woman,yes the half a shop door would open and a little bell would ring, just like open all hours,as soon as you entered there was the smell of parrafin, rubber tyres,from cycles, and doll,s prams, leather, off the cycle seats,plastic,s,in the winter he had a tilley parrafin heater, turned right down and only just glowing,memories from times past,must be 50/60 years ago.

Yes I did see May, I was always sent to get the parrifin, she was very small with grey hair and glasses, but as I said when she came up from the cellar it used to send my imagination into overdrive, just like someone in the pantomime ha ha
