Can anyone recognise these men?
That's Shirley Gardiner's dad, but we dont know anything else. Where did he work?

TIM used to work alongside another HEBBURN legend MARTIN (MARTY) COYNE another burner in the top shed.

Hi everyone yes proud to say that's my dad Tim Gardiner - not sure why he got the name of 'Tim' to be honest as his name was William Gardiner thank you Trish for letting me know that this post was on Shirley

My dad Tim Gardiner worked in the shipyards as caulker burner all his working life - great supporter of Newcastle - the Hebburn trade's and labour club paid for his ticket to go down to Wembley on the bus that must have been 1970 I think - he used to cycle to all the local football matches and many a time brought back on the bus bike included - im trying to think of the guys name that drove the halls buses that brought him back thank you
