I agree Ged,and also you cannot compare Biden as he has not as yet done anything as President.One big thing missing for me in Bill,s list was he is a fraud who only put his own interest,s first & firing people as quick as he appointed them.We are well rid of him just like facebook and twitter.

This post is not open for debate. I have listened to everyone else’s hatred, rhetoric and outright lies for the last four years, so now I am having my say. If you don’t like it, you know where the delete button is. Let me be clear, I am not a Biden fan. I think he is corrupt, a liar, a racist bigot, is in bed with China and probably suffering from dementia. He has done nothing to improve anything in his 47-year political career. But what has Trump done in the past 4 years?
The "arrogant" in the White House brokered four Middle East Peace Accords, something that 71 years of political intervention and endless war failed to produce.
The "buffoon" in the White House is the first president that has not engaged us in a foreign war since Eisenhower.
The "racist" in the White House has had the greatest impact on the economy, bringing jobs, and lowering unemployment to the Black and Latino population of ANY other president. Ever.
The "liar" in the White House has exposed the deep, widespread, and long-standing corruption in the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and the Republican and Democratic parties.
The "white supremacist" in the White House turned NATO around and had them start paying their dues.
The "fool" in the White House neutralized the North Koreans and stopped them sending missiles toward Japan, and threatening the West Coast of the US.
The "xenophobe" in the White House turned our relationship with the Chinese around, brought hundreds of businesses back to the US, and revived the economy.
This same “clown” lowered taxes, increased the standard deduction on the IRS return from $12,500 to $24,400 for married couples and caused the stock market to rise to record levels, positively impacting the retirement accounts of tens of millions of citizens.
The “idiot” in the White House fast-tracked the development of multiple COVID Vaccines which are now available or will be soon. And yet we still don't have a vaccine for SARS, Bird Flu, Ebola, or a host of diseases that arose during previous administrations.
The “orange man” in the White House rebuilt our military which the Obama administration crippled and fired 214 key generals and admirals in his first year of office.
I got it, you don't like him. Many of you utterly hate and despise him. How special of you. He is serving ALL the American people. What are you doing besides calling him names and laughing about him catching the China virus? Some of you were even hoping that COVID would be the cause of his demise. (Ah, the left. The party of “tolerance”. )
Please educate me again as to what Biden has accomplished for America in his 47 years in office, besides making the whole Biden family richer? By the way, where is Hunter?
I’ll take the “clown” any day versus a fork tongued, smooth talking, hypocritical, racist corrupt liar. I want a strong leader who isn’t afraid to kick some ass when needed. I don’t need a fatherly figure. I don’t need a liar. That's what Hollywood, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, BBC and the New York Times are for.

I thought this was a discussion forum, when someone starts a post with not open to debate that surely is not what the forum is for. We have varying views on things which we discuss generally pretty civilised on the whole. But we don't make a statement that we decide isn't up for debate as it is not what a community forum is about. A community forum is about interaction amongst us all either as observers or contributors to the discussion.

not at all Eddy, in fact I agree with most of what you've said. I think Trump will keep a low profile as calls of sedition and incitement are being bandied about in the US. He has dug a deep hole for himself.

Bill whatever Trump has done for the USA, for good or bad.

In the finish he blew it with all his rhetoric and final actions.

I suspect in the end a lot of the people had had enough of him and his family.

Maybe They voted for the other party just to be rid of him.

Time will tell if his past catches up with him. I would not be surprised if his good lady jumps ship as it seems to be an odd relationship., but I could be wrong.

Just like here in England, people just could not stomach Corbin and his people.

As for the President elect. I think he will be a liability and I doubt that he will last 4 years. He looks too old and is too old at 78, the same age as me but looks 10 years older than I am.

I guess he is going to be just a front man.

There should be an upper age limit of say 60 to allow for two terms up to 68 then that’s it.

I would have a cut off date in parliament and the lords too Allan. If not could we have a competency test, mind you I can think of a few nowhere retirement that would struggle with that.

Bill iv,e no doubt is correct in his thread re what Trump has done for America along with millions more Americans but for all the good he has done in the last four years will disappear into insignificance as he will be remembered for his actions in the last few days of his presidency.Norman why dont you have the balls and say what you think about DORIS??????.

The board has always allowed some discussion on Political items where it is important. As for as I can see no one has slagged off another member of the board.

However I do disagree with not calling a person by their correct name.

Mr. Trump has made his own bed and deserves everything thrown at him.

You must realise that that man could in his last days cause massive problems. However I doubt that any instructions he gives now will be followed unless it’s something he has been asked to authorise.

Norman and admin will step in if things get out of hand.

There have been things written over the last few months over Covid by people on the board which to me are out of this world but I have restrained from commenting on. Each person is entitled to their own opinion however misguided it is.

This thread caused no nastiness or falling out butI'd have preferred it if it hadnt started in the first place because we have ex pat regulars who support Mr Trump.
It was allowed to proceed but it doesnt mean I agreed with it and why I kept out of it .I have noticed no one countered Bill Wallace's defence of his President though.
I also remember before Covid, that people in the UK were saying they wish we had someone tough like Mr Trump to stop all this illegal immigration into the UK.

What I love about America is you only have to be daft to become a multi-millionaire but an idiot to be a billionaire, I am in there because I did not pass the eleven plus. Mr. Bill and I were drafted into the military to serve our adopted country, we love America and Hebburn as well as President Trump. He used the law of the land for his bankruptcies and admits it as well as also wanting to revise it. Eddy Nesbi the article you mentioned in a previous post about drinking hand sanitizer, that was a test for the illegals coming into the country Fake News.
