A shot in the arm...

Great News. Just about an hour ago we had a phone call from our local GP to ask us if we would like to go in for the COVID jab. Margaret isn’t 80 till next month but they waved that and said it would be time saving, etc. for us to go together.

How good is that, I hear someone say...down Leicester way!

They seem well organized down your way Don, my mum in law is 95 this month and we haven't heard a thing.

Ken & myself had our jabs new years day at the Glen hebburn well organised really impressed got follow up appointment for 22nd Jan so far no cancellation

It is good to know that we can both go together,As I need help to walk around even while using my stick,we have not heard as yet from our doctors.

We were told that our Doc has not enough room to do the jabs as the patient has to wait 15 mins before leaving the surgery in case there is a reaction. So by doing a couple the jab, speeds things up.

At the moment we will have to go to the Yorkshire events centre in Harrogate.

I get my Covid vaccine tomorrow at The Glen and my husband Jim had his today, we are both 75 so doing well in our area.

Sister Audrey (77) and husband in Jarrow have had theirs. We in Australia start in late February with the AstraZeneca I believe.
