Don't watch BBC ever or the mainstream media who only show one side of the story. This was predicted in March last year and it's all coming true. Looking forward to the next 6 months of frightening rules.

Don, at least one person who contributes to this board does not believe there is a crisis. He believes no one is ill and no one has died of Corvid 19. Another believes there is no hope for most of us. He believes it is a conspiracy of all governments to inflict the virus on humanity to reduce the world's population.

I accept some of what you say but all I was trying to do was get particular posts to explain their meaning. My next question would have been for Norman (Forster) ...quote “This was predicted in March last year and it is all coming true”. What prediction Norman?

However, I think I would be wasting my time to carry on with trying to get some answers now as the thread is becoming stymied with everyone wanting to get their oar into the water.

Don i believe Joseph was getting at the doubters who in there own mind believe that Covid 19 does not exist.They are entitled to there opinion but when asked to come up with evidence that it does not exist they cannot.Joseph was highlighting the fact that evidence proves it does exist.

Now that we are ‘back on track’ I think you owe it to us to explain your thinking/logic/proof of what you say. I have no problem with alternative theories but they need to be explained.

I think I am right in saying that, up to now, no one has explained how or where this COVID virus sprang from. Oh yes, we’ve heard about the bats and other little nasties in a Wohan market but that has never been confirmed. If that is so, then the possibility of it having been deliberately manufactured can not be ruled out. If that were true then the possility of it escaping from a laboratory is not beyond questioning. The ability of mankind to create such monstrous weapons is well proven...Novichok comes to mind, although that is a nerve agent.

So, I would concede that you may not be wrong but part of a minority group of people with such beliefs. All I would ask is that you explain your thoughts in greater depth so as we can begin to understand them. That’ not too much to ask, is it?

The post started with...Did you see what the BBC said on the news this was answered that anyone that has an alternative opinion doesn't watch the BBC. I for one don't the channel of fear. I have a different opinion to what mainstream media put out. If that makes me a conspiracy theorist so be it time will tell. Why do the mainstream media never talk or allow other opinions but their own. Anything that is put up anywhere else is removed can't say that. End of story. Hope I'm wrong for everyone's sake but I stand by my view's.

Why do the mainstream media never talk or allow other opinions but their own? A strange statement…It’s not an ‘Opinion’ that COVID is a very infectious disease, and that hospitals are seeing very high mortality rates at present…everyone can have opinions, facts remain constant.

when it first happened I said to my husband I wonder if there had been an accident in a lab some where in the world and escaped and got out into the air,he said don't be stupid.,but we may never know unless the lads on the board can tell us.

That chart was for results a year ago. If you go to the CDC site it will show for this year numbers are relatively low. The reason seems to be from all of the shut ins.

It’s a thing we have here in the U.K. Bill. Most of us Oldies get a flu jab every year.

Maybe our climate and density of population has something to do with it.

In 1918/19 It was deadly and steps then taken to try to prevent it being as bad.

If you had it where you live in the States there would be a jab but costly.

Allan, had my flu shot back in October. The shots are covered by insurance and don’t cost anything to recipients. As I mentioned earlier the numbers seem to be down because of the shut-ins.

Bill, Ged, this observation by the CDC of America is very interesting. Is it possible that Flu deaths are co-joined with covid deaths when the certifications are made by doctors. Is it just co-incidence that whilst Flu deaths are down in the U.S., covid death reports are rampant?

George I agree with you, all the deaths that have been tagged as Covid. because of having had a + test within 28 days. A catchall cover thing.

Deaths could well have been caused by the Flu which weakened people but they had not got the full Covid. That will never be known, postmortems doubtful, too many being required.

Yes Alan the 28 days rule applies but I believe that in the UK the Covid -19 virus has to have been identified within the body for Covid to appear on the certificate.
