My memories of the clinic on Argyle street was a strong smell of iodine having been applied to my scuffed knees after a fall. Any accident when we were children at St Aloysius you were immediately despatched to the clinic. I remember the elderly nurse who care for us. She was a lovely lady with white hair. She lived in one of two semis on Victoria Road West , between Tharsis Road and Reyrolles Car Park. I’ll be 81 this year, but remember it as if were yesterday.

Lovely to see you on the board Sheila. I too can remember that clinic. Passing it every day to go to my grannies in Albert Street. I also went to it when I was having my eldest son, the doctor who's name I could always remember has disappeared from my mind for the moment. It was a short name and I'm sure one of the ladies will remember her. It does seem like yesterday Sheila and yet it isn't!!!!

I am glad to see Sheila on the board aswell Marie.
I remember going to the School dentist at the Clinic for a tooth or teeth out. The mask was put on and horrible smell of Chloroform knocked me out. I was sick afterwards.
Never had it since and much prefer the needle.
