Did all my exams there in mechanical engineering 1960's. Norman has a set of photos I took just before it's demolition. Sad to see but great memories.

Did secretarial training there, also in the 60's.

I did a Spanish Class there in 1966, I took a great aunt with me she was in her 70’s she loved it.

Did my Electrical Engineering National Certificate there, starting in 1957 on day release from Pyrotenax.

I was a full-time student 59/60 then dayrelease from 1960-64. Also, Took French atnight school. The Annual Aprentices Ball was also brilliant. Lovely Memories.

As a toddler I remember watching, from our back bedroom window, the college being built - very slowly.My dad reckoned there were only a handful of brickies on the site a lot of the time.

I attended the college on Tues.nights doing technical drawing in The mining surveying classroom.that was in 1958.

That photo looks like it was taken from the Reservoir on Mill Lane, where St. Joseph's Court is now. I wish the photographer had taken some shots of that too!
